Im under 18 and have to go to court for a relative in dupage county Illinois, it is a open court anyone can come. do i need ID??

No. They do however suggest you bring an id with your picture on it. Your school ID or similar item will be sufficient. In reality, you should never leave your house without some form of ID. |

I have never seen any court, local, state or federal, require id to enter. There will be a metal detector and many court will not permit you to bring a cell phone into the courthouse, especially if it has a camera. You should call the clerk's office to see what the rule is at your courthouse. |
