I think that in reality a lot of people moan and complain about things that they are passionate about, but don't really do anything about it because sometimes it doesn't really get them any where.
I do stand up for myself and people I immediately know. I'm not afraid to ask and question things, its just that sometimes people can either start a great big augment instead of a friendly debate. |

I have to decide what's important to me. If someone calls me names or something childish, I just shake my head and pity the person. They obviously have more problems than just me.
If it comes down to something that affects me or my family, then I will stand up for myself. If it goes against my principles or beliefs, I will stand up.
Other than that, I'm pretty laid back about things. I'm not easily insulted. |

the only thing i'm passionate about is my woman and my work, people can call me what they want ive heard it all before. but if somebody were to call me lazy or my work was bad i come out fighting and i fight dirty, same goes for my fiancee any infringement on her personal space i see that as a threat on her and i act accordingly. apart from that if i were any more chilled out you could freeze ice cubes in my pube.. err i mean armpits. |

i was always brought up to stand up for myself and speak out when a wrong is done against me or if i see wrong being done to anybody else.you should always fight for what you believe in and stand true to your morals and principles.if more people were like this the world would be a better place, i honestly believe this. |

I stand up for myself, sometimes to an extreme. I'm 20 now, but when i was 18. I was in a huge uproar at my high school and was on the verge of suspension. It was all because my 5th hour teacher forgot to tell the subsitute (principals wife) that i would be reading to a 4th grade class and she yelled, i yelled, went to the principals office, and he sided with her. Then she commented that my family is dishonest and better than everyone else and then the school tried to ban my clubs from doing anything and tried to prevent me from being Validictorian. I called the governor on their a** and got it all straightened it out. The governor told me I'd have the right to sue, but i had no intention to. However, i did let the principal overhear that i was thinking about pursueing it lol. He sure was scared |

I'm most likely to fast to fight back for my rights,a lot of people sit back and wine over the wrongs done to them and never stand up and cry foul. How will any thing ever be fixed if the wrong is not brought to light. I also know we must pick our fights wisely which I must admit I have a problem doing. Yet even if I go to far I would rather be accused of being bull headed than a push over at least you know were I am coming from.We should all have that right. |

I tend to sit down, relax, have a drink, then stand up for myself! My philosophy is " you've got a lot going for you, if you don't give a damn!" |

I fight for what I believe in. Im actually trying to get some guts to publicly speak to the people about the government. I hate public speaking, but I think people need to stop listening to the Democrats |

there may be more people try to stand up, than you imagin, but if they are not super rich an have big glamourous court cases they are swept under the carpet. i know this from personal experiance. there is a massive team of persecuters out there just waiting for people who have a dissagreement.
if you are an inteligent thinker, here is your evidence, there are going on for 60million britains, we are all undere.u. dictator ship.where are the non europeans, anti europeans mean nothing, non europeans mean freedom, do you truly believe that the politician has fooled all the people all the time for 40yrs without non european existance, of course not they are threatened with psychological terrorism.as i have for many many years.how many more are there out there. |

Most people will do anything to avoid a confrontation.
They showed on one of those prime time news programs that diners in a restaurant wouldn't dare say anything about two hellion children running around and throwing food on them. They just sit there and looked down at their plate. Finally when a little girl called them down, her mother corrected her for it. Can you imagine that?
How do you think three people with box cutters were able to subdue three airplanes full of people with no resistance?
Oh sure most people will talk a good game on the Internet, but when it comes to actually being named as a plaintiff in a civil rights lawsuit, or protesting, speaking out at a public meeting, or just good ole fists to faces, most people will do anything to avoid it. |

Well…
"I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees..."
-- General Emiliano Zapata (1879-1919)
However…
“He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.â€
-- SUN TZU (first rule of victory)
But, personally, if the cause be just…
“I am in earnest. I will not equivocate; I will not excuse; I will not retreat a single inch; and I will be heard!â€
-- William Lloyd Garrison (1805–1879)
Because…
“Inaction is cowardice…â€
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
And…
“You can’t win the game by sitting on the bench.â€
-- John Madden
But don't quote me on that. ;-) |

It depends on what sort of people you're referring to, for example, those who are rather shy would normally back down from a fierce conversation. |
