I don't "support" it. I also don't have a problem with it. |

Do you support straight marriage? |

sure why not.

Indeed. I see no reason why we shouldn't allow them. |

I support giving gay couples the same legal rights as straight couples when it comes to permanent partnership. I don't really care if it's called a marriage or not. |

While it isnt a personal choice i would make, Its none of my business, nor anyone elses place to dictate how anyone should act, live, or love. |

yes...i beleive our bodies are male/female but souls are androgenus, so if two people decide they're soulmates, so be it. |

It's not that I support gay marriage. It's that I'm against any laws or policies that discriminate against and prevent people from marrying simply on the basis of their gender. It violates the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment guarantee of Equal Protection under the law, plain and simple. |

I do. I think that society only thinks it is wrong because everyone else thinks it is wrong, and THAT is mostly because the bible doesn't mention anything about two women or two men being together.
Why shouldn't two men or two women be together? So far, I haven't heard a single valid reason, and "It's just wrong" ISN'T a valid reason.
It's love. |

I absolutely 100% agree that everyone should have the chance to marry whom ever they want and get the same legal rights for doing it! |

Doesn't matter to me- it's none of my business. But if I were gay I think i'd want equal rights. |

Everybody should have the chance to lose half of their belongings, so yes, yes i do.....get married, the average marriage these days is only 5 years, and it's getting shorter every year, maybe the gay communty can show us a tip or two on how to do it right, or be just a miserable as the rest of the world......have a ball! since when do we need permission to exercise our freedom of choice? |

It's really none of my business who sticks what into who. Let people do wtf they want. I don't see how it affects other people. It's not like you can stop them from being gay. |

Yes.
Bob J - If you want to protect children, then compulsory psychiatric care for heteros would be the story. Check the statistics - not just numbers which will be your reply, str8 child abuse is proportionally higher too. |

Yes. If they want to get married they should. It doesn't bother me. |

Nope. A civil union, ok. But, I have a traditional family and I cherish it to much to allow it to even be threatened.
That's as liberal as I can be on this issue. |

To me, the idea of a gay "marriage" under cuts what I believe that marriage means - that of a MAN and a WOMAN being joined together in holy matriamony!!!!!!!!!
If they ( a gay couple) want to be joined in a civil union - then that to me is somewhat less objectable. I still don't like the idea of 2 men or 2 women being joined in "marriage". I takes away all the things that spell marriage to me.
Call me old fashioned - I REALLY DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!! |

NO! God created Adam & Eve. NOT Adam & Steve. Marriage should be between MAN & WOMAN. |
|

Doctor Slernon

I don't. Marriage is a convent before God and the state only recognizes it for monetary and census reasons. Its only with the birth of the extreme secularists that have an obsessional hate of religion that the state took over marriage. Gays can't have children naturally and their coupling has no societal benefits. |
