Some of us are old enough to remember when abortion was illegal in some States. It happened anyway, sometimes with grave physical consequences. If abortion is made illegal, then any good, qualified consultation regarding such a "choice" goes by the wayside, and within that narrow window of opportunity that an abortion can even be considered, the choice would then be biased towards a tragic "just do it" mentality. It would not be stopped, just more people would be put into already overcrowded jails.

No. It is the choose of the person that is having the abortion.
Me personally is against abortion, but it might not be a good time for that person to have a baby, or that person might be way to young for a baby. I think there is other ways to go through this such as adoption homes. Also their is Baby Safe Haven Laws here in Massachusetts.

Yes I do; some necessary exceptions to this(two because of the sinful society we live in, one because that's just how it is) are rape, incest, and the life of the mother being in jeopardy.

Making aborton illegal will not stop abortions. Before Roe v. Wade women were getting abortions and then DYING because the doctor botched the procedure.

I think that some people use it as a form of birth control n if someone has been more then once they should tie the tubes so it doesn't happen again.I think it should only b legal for people who have been raped or with mental prob or something wrong with baby that mom or baby might die etc...otherwise I don't think it should b just used like people do cuz of irresponsibility's n recklessness.I also think they should have an age limit just like drinking n if a girl gets pregnant b4 then there sent on there own to a home for young pregnant girls n will lose all freedom n will learn to b a mom cuz that is the choice they made.If more people would get there girls on birth control n let them know that being a parent is more then just carrying a child n giving birth.To many babies having babies.They should make people go on birth control until they reach 18 n can make there own adult decision then .When they r an adult.

here is my rather unorthodox answer, why do we need the government to have the final choice on something like this. Who is anyone to determine the quantitative value of a human life. You can't answer that. You need to consider the situations a women is put into and then decide if abortion is an option. It should be up to the women and her family. Since no one is qualified to tell us whether this is right or wrong, the decision should be left to the people who are directly affected by the situation. Abortion can destroy a life yet save a life. Not getting an abortion can save a life yet ruin another. Not getting an abortion can save two lives. Getting an abortion can save two lives. No one will ever come up with a valid response. I think it should ultimately be left up to the ones affected. Its the only logical solutoin to me

Absolutely. Abortion should be illegal everywhere in the world. An innocent child can't pay his/her life brutally for the activities of his/her parents. If we kill our own children, who would save and love them? Even then, we would say us that we are HUMAN BEING and we have humanity?

No matter what your ethics, morality or values are, abortion is a less obtrusive name for killing a child. This is undeniably killing humans.

I'm not sure how people can spin the truth so badly when considering that it takes an "act" by another human to extinguish the life from another human.

I don't believe in abortion because it is killing a human being. It takes a physical Act to kill the child. For example, scissors are plunged into the babies head and or a chemical solution is injected that burns the baby. Killing a baby is really a gruesome act. You can see it for yourself if you google abortion. The reason there is such a support of abortion is that many of the supporters have had abortions before and they are trying to find a way to feel better about themselves and rationalize a very emotional, hurtful act that is buried in their conscience.

NOWHERE, in the Constitution is abortion talked about!

It was set as a legal precedent in a supreme court case, not by legislatures amending the Constitution.
