What an amazing question. Stupid but amazing. How can you possibly hold the individual voters responsible for an action taken by their Government. There are no doubt voters who voted for Bush who do not agree with the foreign policy. How could these be held responsible. I am English and do not support the Iraq war. I think a huge mistake was made. I voted Labour and am an admirer of Tony Blair. Does that make me an accessory to war crimes? Don't be silly.

Well now, lets see if we can put a few things in perspective for those among us who are the truly imbecilic, moronic, ignoramuses who think GWB is stupid.

Shall we compare what a stupid guy has done to what any of you have done - don't worry this will take about a second.

Here is a guy who, out of of 300 million people, has been selected twice to lead the country and who serves in the most powerful position of anyone in the country.

The USA is the most powerful, both economically and militarily, country on a planet with over 6 billion people on it. Does that make him the smartest guy on the planet? Probably not. Does it make him smarter than you? Without a doubt.

But let's continue. Shall we?

While you might consider him stupid, he was apparently smarter than the 100 million or so democrats who tried to defeat him in his last 8 elections. Plus, he received higher grades in college than the latest 2 liberal candidates threw up against him.

So, if according to you he is stupid, how has he also accomplished all of these things against people who you must consider smarter than you or why would you vote for them?

I would challenge you to take a look at your own pathetic, monumentally insignificant and truly worthless life and tell us all what you have accomplished in a way of even the most remote comparison.

The purpose of the question is to find exactly where YOU must inevitably rank on the intellectual scale in comparison since you have virtually nothing, either in your past or future, which will come close to a single one of gwb's accomplishments?

Looking at it that way, if you consider him stupid and he has accomplished all of these things, it must kind of make you feel about as insignificant and worthless as a drop of water in the worlds oceans. Or, to put it in terms you can relate to, a piece of cow sh*t in the middle of a 100,000 acre pasture.

with all the TV shows and movies showing just how complicated politics, war decisions, ramifications, espionage; and all the flaws of the system in the electronic data world, to the point that identity theft is so common, I am surprised at the short sightedness demonstrated by your question.
1-when 9/11 came and the war on terror started, all democrats and republicans were in it together. when the decision to go to war with Iraq came down, the information available pointed to weapons of mass destruction. we went to war unified in intent and direction.
2-It is true we did not have UN backing, and only few nations backing us up, but as you should know, the US is the only one strong enough and rich enough to stand. The other nations have more of an appeasing lets be friends with terrorists and see if we don't get burned by it. (We have seen the attacks on their soil, despite this mentality and attempts). We even see how they closed their eyes to the atrocities of WWII. We were blind too, but we had a big ocean in between and the info coming to us through these nations.
3-When the lack of proof of WMD became aparent, Bush reformed the system, so data errors like the ones claiming there was WMD would be corrected. when 9/11 happened he reformed the information system so that terrorist threats would be found out earlier rather than too late.
4-Bush never hid the fact that the post war times were going to be worse that the war in itself. and it has been hard, expensive and we are still losing soldiers. There are areas in Iraq where soldiers go and they come back happy that they are making a difference and there are other areas where the opposite is true- they see resistance, hate, and intolerance and they come back frustrated with the situation.
5-Bush went to war with the info he had available and to defend this country. Now we are there and getting out without plan or stability in Iraq, would eventually leave Iraq in the hands of anarchy and fully militant and aggressive terrorists. Essentially, pulling out now would leave Iraq in a possition to become a greater threat that under Hussain.
6-Bush is an economist, a thriving bussiness owner and he knows the flux of economy and that sometimes delayed gratification pays a hundred fold compared to instant gratification. Decisions that help stabilize business owners become important because the employees benefit in the long run. I have been a business owner and have been at the place where gubernamental decisions affected my business and left my 3 employees jobless and my business belly up.
7-Bush has been in a situation that has been very difficult to maneuver. Only time will tell if his decisions were wise or not. I doubt very much he would have gone to war if he knew there were no WMD. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place, trying to stabilize Iraq and bring the soldiers back home, and doing this without increasing the future risk of danger to the US.
8-The only thing I hear from Bush opponents is insults, expression of frustration, and fabricated and faulty logic data. I am still waiting for a good argument against Bush that is not dependent on emotional hysterics.

Well at least those who voted the second time for him, when they knew how much he already had screwed up and would screw up again...I don't know about the charges but they're in part responsible, that's true.

No. Americans are afraid, naive, undeducated, illogical, and reactive. Maybe some kind of an intelligence test should be required before they vote again, but I don't think they should be punished, that's nuts.
