Definately!!! Upon second or third offense because, there are some out there that has been falsely accused. I knew a guy that his daughter accused himof it because she was mad at him. He spent over a year in prison over her lie, and then she finally confessed the truth and he got out. But, for the ones that really are guilty beyond any doubt should be. If not put them to death they should have a tattoo artist put the name CHESTER on there forehead, arms, legs, back, and chest. With that tattoo they would not be able to find employment,or housing. Eventually the majority of them would committ suicide doing everyone a favor. They have proven that even castration wont stop them from doing it. Its a sickness that cannot ever be cured except by death. |

Yes and the 3 strikes and you're out rule should not apply.
Molest one child, destroy that one life and their life should be destroyed. |

I think they'll get their just desserts with out anyone here on earth making them pay. Harming a child is a huge sin. Although i do find it a rather large coincidence that most of them get it in the butt once they make it to prison. I wonder if they liked having their bodies violated like that? What comes around goes around! |

personally, any crime where it can be proven without question from DNA evidence that an individual has killed, maimed or inflicted any other bodily harm to a minor ( or anyone else for that matter) should be executed.
What gets me is how so many idiots out there beleive they wont get caught. The power of DNA - bring on the register. The only people who have a problem with the register are people who have something to hide. |

No, unless they actually killed someone. Better to throw them into gaol and the toughies in there will soon sort them out. |

What would you think if you were standing in court being charged with this crime? if a child said you had molested them, would you then wish it wasn't a death sentence you faced?. Death is so final, you can't say Oops sorry we got it wrong. Does pulling the leaver not make you guilty as well?. |

Well, I'll chalk your position up to basic ignorance.
First of all, if you want all these folks to get the death penalty, they will all need to be privvy to the Constitutional protections in place when that is a possible punishment. This includes a two phase trial, two attorneys, certain appellate rights, etc. all of which result in HIGHER overall costs for death penalty cases than life in prison.
Second, the SCOTUS has already ruled that the death penalty for cases of adult rape is unconstitutional as cruel and unusual punishment (disproportionate to the crime).
Finally, if you have the death penalty as a punishment for child molesters, you will have more dead children. The murder of the child will be effected to prevent the child from telling of the molestation. If the punishment is the same, the perp will reason that killing the child will increase the chances of non-detection. |

YES!!!!
As a father of two girls I fervently believe that anyone convicted of such a crime should be eradicated and their bloodline removed from the gene pool.
And before you ask I would be happy in the "Albert Pierpoint" role. |

It should be on the table in some of the more hideous cases where the evidence is unequivicable |

Why can't you rehabilitate them? And why are you so quick to put people to death? Yes, what they did was wrong, but what right do we have as fellow humans to judge that person and say that he should be killed? I'd rather waste my money keeping someone imprisoned than try to live with myself knowing that I was responsible for killing another person, no matter what the justification for it. |
