Seriously though, yes, I didn't even know they have dental, medical and schooling. My husband doesn't even have medical! I think anyone who has committed murder definitely has it way to easy. They should all be executed. No tv either. This is prison, not highschool.

Yeah there are people going to jail who get better educations then people that can't even afford to go to school and their education is free.

I agree one hundred percent, however they should not be afforded any luxuries while in there, no big screens with cable, etc.

They should have a mandatory 2 hours a day time where prisoners are given the option of reading in the library (or wherever) Or remain in their cells while the others do so.

I truly believe learning a trade to be used on the outside would prove that the prisoner doesnt wish to return to prison and wants a way out of his lifestyle.

If 95% of prisoners returned to society smarter, better educated and with a skill to use to earn income, it would definatly slow the influx of career criminals to overburdened prisons.

Yes. I think we should send all of the trash we send to the dumps through there and make them sort out anything that can be recycled. It would make money for the state and keep a lot of reusable items out of landfills.

No.....they don't have rights in prison. Some prisons fit 300 men in a 60 man-capacity cell. Their food is ****, I know a guy who's found dead mice in his meals. And the hamburger meat is usually not cooked all the way. Prison isn't "easy". Their "schooling" is supposed to be a positive thing for them while they're staying there, so if they ever do get out, at least they can somewhat be better than before they got in for society, but that's usually never the case. Their minds get worse. They literally call it hell.

yes they do watched a program last nite they play out most the day they get fed with a decent meal and they get privaleges like making dolls house or painting it nuts .xxlol

I guess they do have it kind of easy, i think that they have those things because we want prision to turn their lives around so they give then a few advantages.... I dont think someone that murdered kids should get medical and dental.... but IDK

Your question assumes that they are there to be punished.

While that is partially true, the idea behind it is so they can be rehabilitated so that they can rejoin society capable of contributing rather than taking.

If a criminal goes to prison and then comes out later still not knowing how to do anything, he still cannot get a job and make money. Then he has to go back to his crime to survive. Nothing was solved.

While I do understand that there are some criminals that just don't want to be contributing members of society, or have done crimes so bad that they cannot be trusted to be let back into society, not all are like that.

And when those who can be something get out, do we want a criminal who has to be a criminal just to eat? Or do we want someone who knows a trade, has knowledge, and can contribute back to society so that he can get what he needs legally?

yes. my brother was in jail /prison told me just like being on vacation this is no good why crime is way up no fear of prison or jail
