The female cop ran a red light at 50mph without slowing down or stopping and killed a couple. Shouldn't she be charged with murder also??????

We had a sheriff that was off duty, hit a father and son after leaving a party (the cop was drunk) injured them badly. He also had a firearm in the car which is a felony being drunk with a firearm in your car.
He got slapped on the hand and IS STILL EMPLOYED with the sheriffs dept.! Now, if that were me or you, we would be spending several years in prison.
We also had another sheriff from the same department assaulted his wife, hand cuffed her and pointed his gun at her. He also had all charges dropped.
COMMENT FOR tonelc2, yes an officer responding to a scene with lights and sirens is supposed to be yielded to, but.... it is also the OFFICERS responsibility when approaching an intersection to slow down and make sure it is clear BEFORE proceeding through it if it is red. |

That dirtbag that killed the Angels pitcher, (and two others, in case that hadn't been reported where you live), drove drunk, blew a red light, had a suspended license, and fled the scene. And, it was not his first offense.
It is not nearly as clear cut in the case of the La Habra cop. Who knows. That investigation is still ongoing. In the end, she may be culpable as well. |

Let's see--guy gets stupid drunk, then gets behind the wheel of several tons of steel, then rams it into a car. (This is vehicular homicide/manslaughter.)
Or, cop is rushing to respond to an officer needs assistance call with lights and siren on, and hits a car that didn't see or hear her...not murder. |
