Probably. First we need a real investigation of the events leading up to the war, including prior plans for war & the 9/11 attacks, which were the events which tipped the balance for the Congress to declare war. Were they & we lied to? Was there a stand down order that day? - which was all but proven by Mineta's testimony before the 9/11 Commission.
There is little doubt war crimes were committed against the prisoners at Guantanamo & elsewhere. The real question that needs to be answered concerns treason against the people & Constitution. |

No, I do not. If they do decide to charge them, I hope they also charge the Congress. Their job is Presidential oversight. They voted giving Bush the power to go to war. So if it is illegal it is their fault and they should be charged accordingly. They should also be charged with dereliction of duty and surrender all pay and benefits. |

Ask this to the People of Iraq. This war has liberated them from an insane dictator. How quickly the images of Saddam's statue being smashed to the street has been forgotten. Have you forgotten that many of our soldiers that have been captured don't get the privileges of the Geneva convention or visits from the Red Cross or have access to defense attorneys, They get tortured and then beheaded with the film broadcast on the Internet for their family's to see. War is hell and too many of our leaders tried to negotiate with the mad men who's goal is to annihilate ALL who do not believe as they do. Thank God for a leader with the guts to stand up for what he believes in.
