I'm a smoker. Not proud of it! I agree it should be away from others, but banned. I want to quit, just like most, but there are people who have been smoking 30 years or more, who don't want to or can't quit, are they going to send a bunch of old nicotine addicted people to prison for smoking.
Hey mom! Grandpa got caught smoking again, the piggly wiggly's took him to the slammer again. It's his last offense, now he's going to jail for good. Come ON! |

I am a non-smoker and sometimes wish it was. In most states smoking is banned from public buildings and that's good enough for me. Every once in awhile I see someone smoking outside in the cold winter and I actually wish there was somewhere warm for them to smoke.If you are smoking outside or in your home, then this is America and you should be allowed. I have also noticed that most people will put out the cigarette when they are smoking near you if you ask them politely. If not then it's not like I can't get away from them. It's doing them harm not me. I think most people know the risks of smoking and if they still choose to do so then let them be. |
