Do you think the goverment has any right to tell you what to do?

i mean like why do they get to make up the laws and tell you how do things
like you cant even buid a house or something without a permit
and obama is going to put that tax on so that you have to pay taxes if you inherit something
and you have to go to school why? you should have a choice i mean half the stuff you learn in school you never use in life and all that time you spend in school you could have been doing something useful!

im not a slacker its just that the people in the goverment are no better than you and me so why should they get to make up all the laws that we have to live by?

Laws are made for the safety of people and some other stuff too. If you want to make a law, you can, but it's going to be an awfully long process and might not even pass.

People are required to go to school because they are minors and cannot be trusted to make their own decisions so it is made for them. Once you're sixteen you can drop out and try to get a job.

The grammer usage in the details of your question is why a manditory education should be forced upon any minor.

As for adults, you should be able to do what you want for the most part.

The reason why there are building laws is so that some moron doesn't build a home on an earthquake fault and run a day care center out of it.

Estate taxes only affect those whose wealth is in the millions, so don't worry about it.

We elect the people who make the laws we have to live by...don't like the laws they made, elect different people next time, or run for office yourself. In return for having to live by the laws they pass, we get the benefits of living in a society where the other people around us follow those same laws. In return for paying taxes, we get the benefits of everything the government uses those taxes for. And by the way, "that tax...so that you have to pay taxes if you inherit something" is called the estate tax and *it already exists*, and has for a long time. Obama just wants to keep it in existence, while the Republicans want to repeal it. As for school, your poor grammar and punctuation shows more clearly than anything the need for and importance of a good education.

Uh, in some things.

It would hurt a LOT of people to let people build unsafe houses that burst into flames, and burn whole neighborhoods.

The inheritance tax was of long standing. Why should people be able to give their kids 50 billion dollars, and not pay tax on it? It's not as though they take it all.

With school, the problem is that schools aren't very good, when they should be. Being able to understand things is a GOOD thing; that's what schools should teach.

Uh, useful things can 6 year olds DO otherwise?
