I'd LOVE it! "Loser pays" would cure a lot of what's wrong with our legal system.

The laws main goal is to be just, not to deter people from filing lawsuits in fear of monetary loss. Nobody would file suit against giant corporations under this logic, the potential cost of paying their council fees would outweigh the risk of filing suit.

Doctors in America are some of the highest payed professionals in relation to the world. If you don't like the legal system with regard to malpractice, I suggest you find a different profession.
