I'm torn. I would say yes if you could regulate it like alcohol. It is natural and in my opinion safer than getting drunk. I think part of the problem is you wouldn't be able to pull someone over and test to see how stoned they are or how much they've smoked. So, how do you judge how much is too much?

Jay the non-smoker is right. YES! legalize pot and reduce the crime rate.
Leagalize it and reduce taxes by way of cutting almost in half our (taxes-paid-for) jail/Prison population.
Yes! legalize it and help create safer drugs than those made by artificial chemicals.

I think so.

Less laws would be broken, less people in jail and people who do weed shouldn't be with murders.

Also it's kinda like since it's illegal more people want to do it to be rebellious.

Plus it's not the worst drug out there and its there choice.

Yes. Then it wouldnt be cool any more. I'm so tired of marijuana being the stable of a good time. I believe mairjuana isnt legal do to the fact you can grow it yourself and government cant really tax it.

Yes and I've never smoked it and I don't drink either but alchohol causes more problems than marijuana and causes people to be more loud, obnoxious and aggressive so it makes no sense that marijuana is heavily criminalized while alchohol is so heavily promoted. It's illogical. It causes overcrowding in the prisons and violent offenders get out earlier as a result. This problem needs to be fixed and regulated. Also, for the simple fact that drunk, loud, fighting neighbors get on my nerves I'd much rather they just mellow out and kill their brain cells with weed so they wouldn't bother me. Also the increase in snack sales would help the economy and reggae would push country and rap off the top of the charts. How could that not make the world a better place?

People should be allowed to grow their own, for their own use, like the government allows people to make their own wine and beer; but there are limits on how much of it can be made; and of course they are not supposed to sell it.
In my opinion marijuana is a crummy high, because it interferes with your thinking and behavior. It makes you think crazy thoughts, say stupid things and do stupid things. But some people like it...that is their business. They should have the legal right to grow their own.

yes. i used to smoke every day and quit, but i still think it should be legalized. you can not overdose on weed. weed does not make people aggressive. there is a better case to make alcohol illegal over weed.

Absolutely: I think people that smoke up are alot more mellow then someone high on whisky, on whiskey they just want to fight, and cause trouble.

i still think there should be laws against driving under the influence, but other than that people should be free to smoke weed in the privacy or their homes or with friends
