cause I know they have suspicion that I smoke pot...but i dont want them to drug test me and im wondering if they can force me to? my mom said she doesnt want them taking my blood or piss haha

I also recommend that you contact the American Civil Liberties Union.
Get their recommendations.
I agree that we have seen ridiculous levels of invasion of our personal privacy and personal liberty.
In particular during the past administration of George Bush the intrusions into personal privacy has become absolutely ridiculous.
Although I am opposed to the use of illegal drugs, the levels of invasion of our personal privacy and personal liberties is a far more serious matter than any benefits that may be obtained by catching the occasional drug user. |

No, they can't force you. They would never have that right. If you say no, they have to accept it. Even with your parent's permission, they still cannot force you to do a drug test. Even your parents can't actually force you to piss in a cup or let them take blood. So no, they can't force you. If they physically hold you down and take blood, not only can you attack them, they can be put in prison.
I believe that the only time you are under legal obligation to get a drug test is if you are on probation. And even then, they cannot hold you down to test you. |
