Why would the FBI tell you before they show? so you can leave, then they have to chase you??

Contact the FBI and let them know you believe that someone is impersonating them in emails sent to you. They should take this very seriously. Their phone number should be in your phone book. |

it is a scam. If the FBI wants to arrest someone, they do not give warnings so as to allow the person to run and hide. Call your local FBI office or check the FBI web site and you can forward this scam to them. They cannot investigate each of the hundreds of new scams that arise each day, but they might be interested in this one as it claims to be from them. |

All scams like this should be reported. Especially if they are impersonating a government official. Notify your local FBI office, and the FCC. |

The FBI does no official business by email. Did it say why you should be sending it? To whom you were sending it? Why it was to Nigeria? Why you would be arrested? It's a SCAM. Best thing you can do is contact your local authorities to find out who you can report it to. |
