I thought you wrote she lost her DL for life?! That is the problem with out government, nothing will be done until this woman kills someone then there will be outrage, investigations, accusations, lawsuits filed and after all is said and done ...nothing will have happened to prevent this from happening again. |

welcome to the American Judicial System. |

Not fair at all especially if she is the one that broke into your house. She should be sentenced to AA and be tested for Alcohol use an a random basis and if at any time she should show a positive test then BAMM send her to the slammer for three years where there will be no alcohol at all. |

No it certainly doesn't sound fair but remember, this is the same judicial system that found OJ Simpson not guilty of murder. |

complete system failure.....and to think this is just the one you know of... |
|

Well Duh!

Sounds like one of Obama's new appointees. What cabinet position did this person get? |

No. she really should be in jail for three years. |

Local Government make too much money from prosecuting DUI'S. If they made a mandatory sentence for offenses then we wouldn't have this problem. |

If she lost her drivers license for life, how did she get a third DUI. Three years of probation isn't TOO bad though, i would like to see something more harsh. |

No, it's not fair. There is a push in my state to have DUI violations come under the "three strikes and you're out" law. It won't get very far --about every month some judge, elected official, or appointed official is getting busted for a DUI. The Legislature won't pass a bill that will adversely affect them. For someone with a history of DUIs it's only a question of time until they kill someone by their actions, unless the public is protected by having that person behind bars. |

she should be put down |

I've seen people with 2wice that number of DUI's who still hadn't done jail time.
Fair? Nope.
Not even just in MHO. |

Well, obviously, your state doesn't have the "3 strikes rule". Apparently, the judge felt compassionate that day. |

She didn't kill anyone...so they figure that it's fair enough. I mean they don't want to put her in jail for a DUI. The prison system is already so full..and that's tax payers money. If you are going to put DUI people in jail...that's just more money out of our pockets. I honestly wouldn't want to pay more for it...probation is enough. |
