Fight a parking ticket if you did not know?

Is it possible to fight a parking ticket if one did not know you could not park outward instead of inward in a parking space?

Yes generally you can' claim ignorance but....

You could do some research because in some places it is the driver's hand book and in others it is not. Someplaces have an ordinance and in others not. The number of the ordinance might be on the ticket.

You could go to or call wherever you pay tickets and ask.

If you determine that there is no such thing I would go take pictures of wherever you parked as eveidence that there are no signs.

If there was no sign posted to that effect, then yes, it may be worth fighting. Not if it was in the police department parking lot however.LOL

I don't think that you could fight that, the judge will probably order you to go to driving school. because that is in the drivers hand book about parking.
