if im on probation and am a felon can i be friends with another felon and if hes not on probation? and when he and i get off probation but we're still felons can we hang out together? i live in NEVADA

so if im a felon and so is he but both of us are not on probation we can still be around eachother, and i didnt meet him in prison hes been friends with me for 5 years this felony things recently happened

if you are on probation it is a violation to associate with other known felons.now if he isn't on probation yes you can hang out with him or her. the conditions of being on probation is so strick. that any little thing can cause you to be violated. you can't even get a J Walking ticket, if you are on child support and you are behind that is a violation. But once you are off of probation then you can hang out with who ever you want.

When you are off probation you can do what you want. When you are on probation, the terms of your probation might prohibit you.

There was a guy who wrote a book on surviving in prison who said that you shouldn't keep in contact with friends you made in prison....
