Is gay marriage legal in Canada? And are there gun rights there like we have in the US (the right to bear arms)?

Gay marriage is legal in Canada as of 2005.
I'm not as familiar with the gun laws in Canada and the US to know the exact differences. But as far as I can remember, Canadians can have guns, they just have to register them. 18 to get your own gun, or 12 if you borrow a gun and are under adult supervision (with some exemptions for kids of the north who are actually hunting, like aboriginals). I don't believe we can carry concealed weapons as you can in the US. Guns just aren't apart of our culture as they are in the US. We can own guns, but the vast majority of people choose not to. |
