Girlfriend being charged when she is innocent

My girlfriend was arrested on domestic violence charges last weekend. We were both heavily intoxicated, and I said and did some things to make her very upset with me. We got into an arguement. She was in my face screaming at me, and I pushed her out of the way. During all of this, we both fell to the floor and I busted my lip and she hit her head on the wall. I was so angry and just wanted her out of there, so I called the police. When they arrived, she refused to speak to them, and she was arrested for assult, due to my obvious injury. In my drunken, emotional, and angry state, I told the officers that she attacked me. I refused to write a statement, but the officers put what I had told them in the police report. When I sobered up the next morning, and came to my senses, I realized what I had done to her. She was arrested and charged for a crime that she did not commit. Can I go in now and write a police statement without being charged with making a false report? How do I make this right without both of us ending up in trouble?
