im due to go next month as a victim of common assualt and dont know what to expect or what questions will be put my way

It's not that bad - do you have a solicitor - if you do - answer his questions with full answers.
Answer the defendants solicitor with simple YES or No answers - do not elaborate any more than you have to with this one.
They will ask all the basic questions - where, when, who , what , why etc etc and probably - do you see your attacker in court - just say YES and point to him/her.
Nothing to worry about - just keep calm - more calm you are - the easier the answers flow and the less chance you have of making a mistake.
That will be the basis of the defendants solicitor - to try to make you flustered and make mistakes in your evidence. |
