Have i lost my rights?

i bought a xbox360 about 18 months ago and i had problem's with it after 9 months.i took it back to the shop and got a new 1
another 9 months have past and im having problems with this 1 aswell,even thou ive only had it for 9 months GAME are saying its not under guarantee and i have to pay 65 pounds to get it fixed,there saying my guarantee starts with my first 1 i bought,there saying all retailers only guarantee your first product when you bought it and if you get a replacement its not guaranteed,is this true or have i rights

As a consumer of any product, the retailer will usually only have a 30 day warranty. Gather up all the receipts and documentation you have regarding the first xbox and the problems you are experiencing with your 2nd xbox and send it off to the manufacturer and explain the retailer you purchased the xbox from is dishonoring the warranty on one of their systems you have for 2 systems and would like to know where it states the warranty is only valid on the original purchased system. If Sony has assembled these systems with a faulty part or component, it will be in Sony's best interest to rectify the problem with a replacement system again with the full warranty accompanying the system. If not, find a local Consumer Rights group in your area and let them know about it, post blogs describing what you have been going through and get the word out .Besides, I am pretty sure that a manufacturer's warranty can not be transferred to a different system. I save every receipt and accompanying warranty paperwork until the warranty expires or I no longer have the item, Good Luck and do not let people make you feel as if you have no rights or you are the one to blame for the malfunction

First gen 360 systems always had problems. You need to contact Microsoft and describe the problem. It may be fixable, unless its the 'red ring of death'.
The store you purchased it at doesnt have anything to do with it any longer. It is Microsoft who you would have the warranty under.
