Have you ever had to fight in an appeal for unemployment insurance?

My friend does. Trying to find out what would help the situation. What was your outcome?

I don't know about your state but in CA, employees win most of the time. I've personally fought 5 cases in the past 2 years and only won 1 of them. It takes having concrete evidence and a good paper trail for an employer to win. I know CA is probably the most employee-friendly state but I can't imagine your state being that much different. Bottom line is, if your friend didn't steal anything when she left her job, she'll most likely win the appeal.....good luck!

unless you are a political and have documented proof of good employment and was laid off with the proper quarters paid you should prevail. the bean counters take shot and hope you Dont show and that keeps their percentage rate down on their payment to unemployment.fight for what is your if you are right
