How can I complain about someone who works for the job centre plus?

Try asking to see her manager and puting in your complaint with them , if that is no help ask to see or for the phone number for the person above them like there area manager.

there is a public complaint dept that deals with all complaints against people in those positions i think it has some thing to do with a public charter

i am sure that they have a procedure in place that you can use. go into the shop again and ask to see a supervisor and say that you have a complaint to make. if they are still funny with you go to the citizens advice bureau and they Will be able to give you some advice

Best thing to do would be to ignore her and make sure you get someone else to help you. If you find you are really having problems go over and speak to her and say you have noticed that the last time you came in she stared and you and again this time, ask if you know her and if there is any reason why but do be polite she will most probably deny it as you have confronted her and bought the matter into the open but do not engage in any heated response etc. Just say you would prefer her not to stare at you in future as it is making you feel uncomfortable ask for her co-operation. Try going to the citizens advice bureau they will guide you through the complaints procedure, alternatively ring the job centre and ask to speak to a supervisor or team leader regarding a complaint about one of there staff. tell them what happened and what time and date also the name of the person involved.(keep it factual though) ask that they take this serious and that you want a reply to your complaint within 14 days or you will take it to your local mp, make sure you get the name and time of the person that you speak to. make sure you keep a record of all incidents to do with this woman, but be warned you might need something more concrete to say about her because you cant prove she looked at you nastily, did she say anything offensive to you?

also keep a record of any complaints you have made, how, when, where and to who you made them, in case you need to follow it up.

Its horrible when people look down on you but it may not be grounds for complaint if she never actually said anything against you.

She's in breach of the departments own rules, the Human Rights Act, The European Convention on Human Rights and the International covenant on economic, social and cultural rights. You can complain. It won't do a bit of good. But you can complain. Try your MP. The link below may help too. Next time stare back - it works on dogs.....

Go to the centre and if she is there ask can you speak to her in private and then ask her if she has a problem with you she what her reply is and if it not good enough for you and ask her who is her senior and can you see them and make an offical complaint about her.

If you are not happy with the way you feel you were treated while making your JSA claim you should first of all complain to the manager of the office dealing with your claim. If you are not happy with his/her response there are further steps you can take, Get the DWP 'Tell us what you think' leaflet in the first instance, ask for it at the Job Centre of read it online (see link below).

I am an employer an use jjob centre plus all the time when i am recruiting. If you wish to complain firstly you have to put the complaint in writing, if not then go in a ask to speak to a Manager who will then advice you on the complaints procedure for that centre. Put it in writning as by doing this it will have to be filed on that persons file.

I don't really see how you can complain about a "LOOK".

But if you are concerned about her attitude, ask to speak to her supervisor next time you are there and complain about her attitude towards you.
