How can I file a Missing Person Report if I am not in the United States?

A close family friend has gone missing (I think). We were not able to reach him for more than a month now. Can we actually file the report even if we are out of the country?

Have a relative or friend in the states do that. You have nothing concrete as to whether or not they are missing since you are not able to check up on them. Or, you could write to the police department in his area and see if there is anything you can do.
