I believe they should have contacted their customers about an issue.
I cloned my hard drive to upgrade to new one. It actually lets you clone to the new hard drive but will not work after because of a serious problem with media direct. This would not be as bad as it is but it essentially destroys your new hard drive and there is nothing you can do about it. I won't go into details if this ends up in business category.
I've done other hard drives before and I've never felt the need to browse the computer companies forum for glitches like this.
So, "maybe" they will send me new discs which would have been nice in the beginning but I will have to purchase a new hard drive to do this.
I lost 150$ on the hard drive and 50$ on an enclosure to clone it.
So I'll have to spend 350$
I think they should at least refund me for the hard drive that was ruined since they never informed me about this which is critical information.
How could I pursue this?

you should read your contract with them, or their terms of use if there is any. seems like YOU made the mistake of not scanning or browsing the computer for glitches so why should they have to pay? sounds like you didnt even try to educate yourself of what things could have happened....sorry but i dont think there is anything you can do...it was your mistake not theirs. |

You tried to clone a HD which is as well you clone the OS. You can't clone and sue. They don't mix. |
