How can my brother get full custody of my nephew?

My nephew is 4 months old and I look after him mostly (I'm 15) and my brother helps when he's not working (he works very long hours). My nephew's mum left him when he was 2 weeks old and we haven't heard from her at all for 3 and a half months. How does my brother get full custody to ensure she doesn't come back and take him?

Contact a solicitor - your brother needs to file a claim for sole custody, which he will more than likely get - the court will try and trace the mother as she is entitled to be present at the proceedings but I wouldn't give her a snowball's chance in hell of getting custody or even aces at this point.
