I live in Guelph, Ontario and I want to start an organization for cancer research. I want to raise money by selling and things. Is this a non-profit organization? How do I start one? Do I have to talk to anyone before starting one?

i'd try making the group online first and then one day meet eachother and possibly get well known over all the stuff. also try being put on TV
