How do i disown myself from my family and live legally some were else without the law after me for 4 years?

First of all, how old are you that you are asking this question? Why disown yourself from them. I can understand wanting to get away from them. If you are still in highschool and are being abused in some way, then you need to turn to someone for help. Turn to a teacher, a friend's parent, other family, neighbors, or the police if need be.

well, you cannot ask for an emancipation until you are at least 16 years old... so i guess with you being 14, you have to wait a while. oh and for emancipation you would have to provide evidence that you can provide for yourself better then your parents can... which i seriously doubt you could.

Get a lawyer and file a suit. You need to have substantial proof that you will be better off on your own and not with them. You can't just be an angst ridden teen who hate mom and dad.

If you are a juvenile, the law allows you to petition a court to declare you to be emancipated. If you are not mature enough to be able to find out how to do it, then the petition would be denied. If you are an adult, a parent, then failure to support your children is a crime. You can divorce and pay pay child support but you cannot just walk away.

If you are over 18, simply leave. Periodically send email messages to family to let them know you are alive. You don't have to tell them where you are. I know 2 people who did this. One lived in Alaska and the other just drifted. My older cousin came back for a week every 2 years, but she was gone for 6 years. My great-aunt and uncle just received letters periodically (pre-Internet era).

you can become an emancipated minor (if you're under 18)..you must see a lawyer and go to court. If you're over 18, you're of legal age and may leave home when ever you like.

To disown your family you have to be self-supporting in most states that have such laws.

You can always disown your family--but that doesn't change the blood in your veins. You will always be a part of them and they a part of you. If you are a minor, you can ask a judge to emancipate you. If you are 18 or older, you can leave and go where you want. Hopefully, you have some type of education or training, as it will be very hard to support yourself without some. You could join the military, but there will be a lot of rules ---probably more than your parents have. So think about this a lot more before you decide what to do.

Need more information. Just don't have any contact with them, you don't even need to move. If they try to contact you, ignore them. How could the law be after you for not having contact with your family?
