If your talking about licensing in El Centro, California, the state of California does not require massage therapists to be licensed, there is no state issued license/certification requirement. However, many cities/counties do have regulations and license requirements.

You also have the option of taking the National Massage Exam, (NCETMB.) http://www.massage-exam.com/california-massage.php

You can also contact City Hall in El Centro and ask about their specific requirements. http://www.cityofelcentro.org/
