How do you hold someone accountable for lying under oath?

I have been wrapped up in the judicial system for the past 5 and half years. My ex has ALLOT of money and likes (oddly enough) to torment me by severing me with useless charges that I'm force to defend. As a single mother working toward moving forward, I'm consistently looking over my shoulder. I understand that people tell little white lies especially in Family Law. But what the lies-clearly documented through depositions and legal records have cost me thousands of dollars. The last one, I almost went to jail. I contacted the DA to pursue and they said I need to call the local police department to file a report on criminal charges. I called the police department and they said they have never had to do that. Anybody been through this before?? By the way, my ex is the owner of the latest transportation company in the state and has city contracts. To think my tax dollars are going to increasing his revenues.

Good luck! It is a very difficult situation.

You said yourself the D.A. isn't going to let you, you'd have to find somewhere to do this without filing criminal charges. Either that or you'd have to find a way to get the D.A. removed from office and hope the next one will take our case. It's not right but it is reality in a lot of places.
