How do you report someone who is working from home and earning a fortune yet not declaring a single penny?

I am so fed up of seeing this woman flashing cash! She has a lovely car a nice posh camper van, she's on benefits, always has her nails done, always in expensive clothes. All whilst I am working my butt off earning crap money but at least I'm paying my taxes! I am sick of these people who are quite happy for us to go out to work and pay our taxes and seem to get benefits thrown at them whilst earning a fortune on the side. They don't deserve benefits. There are plenty of people out there who are genuine and who get tarred with the same brush. Who do I contact to report her? Is it revenue and taxes?

It's not about envy. It's not about getting a life. Attitudes like yours are the reason my taxes are going up every year. Honest people are struggling whilst people like this are not putting money back into this country making it harder for the real workers. I knew someone would answer my question with that ridiculous mentality.

The law says that there has to be a good reason for investigating someone for benefit theft - so you will need to give as much of the following information as possible:
Name and address of the person you are reporting and their partner, if they have one.
A description of the person .
The type of benefit theft you think they are committing and why you suspect them.
Information about their employer, if you think they are working.
Information about their vehicle, if they have one
You can make an anonymous report
You can choose not to give your contact details if you prefer.
Benefit theft staff will look at the information you give. If you have given enough information, they will check the person's benefit claim.

If she is claiming benefits and working then i would contact the benefits people in the first instance.

If you suspect she is claiming benefits but still working (earning) without declaring this then contact the DWP/ DSS.

For info, if you wanted to report a self employed person who had not declared their SE status, contact the Inland Revenue.

The IRS. They will investigate her spending habits and her holdings and find out how she is able to afford all the stuff owns. They will find out.

In the north east area there is a free fraud number but I'm not sure if they act upon info i Know for sure that a person has been reported three times they still continue as they were without any interruption. it does make you wonder just how much information they need i sometimes think they just keep the public happy by listening to them it sounds a cushy number to me.

You should also contact Revenue and Customs. Write to your nearest tax office giving full details - her full name and address and what business you think she is carrying out - they will act on anonymous info.
