I would do a name search on her at the court to see if she has a history of filing lawsuits such as this. After the court sees a trend, she will be labeled a "frivolous litigant" and would need the court's permission to file any additional lawsuits. At least this is how it is in Cali.

frivolous cases are common.
People will sue for anything.
File a counter claim for damages including legal fees and slander.
you have a good case to prove fraud and malicious intent also.

And after losing anyone can appeal. It appears you have a strong case but unfortunately still have to respond and fight it.
Since she lost the original case get a trasnscript/ruling ASAP.
That will show her original claim and testimony.
The fact she changed her story works well for you.

You need to file a formal complaint against the attorney representing this woman. You can file a complaint with your State Bar Association.

don't you have cameras ? if not hire a good lawyer and counter sue her for everything she has , this lawsuit if she wins will cripple your store and income and you might be forced to close down , counter sue to show not only her but others you will not be dealing with utter nonsense .

Her suit is obviously groundless. When she's found to be a fraud, she will be responsible for court costs -- including your attorney's fees.

SCAM ARTIST. They are everywhere looking to get a good buck. The law unfortunately caters to these people (ie. remember the one who split hot scalding coffee on her lap while driving through McD's). Ugh some people need a real husband with a good income, and GOD. So sorry.

God I love America. Her case will probably be thrown out just as fast as her last one. The only reasone papers are being drawn up is because some dopey lawyer believes her and wants money. But as frivoulous as this lawsuit is it won't make it past the judge.

i think that you are just fighting a old woman who is just greedy. She thinks that she could get money by just falling. I thought of numerous times how to sue people. They all work but tell her that she needs proof. ask where is the proof and do the police have the boxes? Do you mark all your boxes? If so then get the marked kind of boxes and go on court. Compare them and look at the symbols, coat of arms, or just the bar codes. When you scan them, they should have the info on where the boxes went.
