How long do police have to serve an arrest warrant ?

Say a warrant has been issued for your arrest not like a bench warrant because you missed a court date. But a warrant for like driving on a revoked basiclly suspected of diving on a revoked which is a felony in Il. but the police have no fingrerpints or mugshot and you were never arrested for this crime.

If it was meant to be what are you in high school or somthing? Please don't answer if you don't know what the hell you are talkin about..

Arrest warrants generally remain active until recalled by the judge or magistrate that issued the warrant. So the answer in theory is, indefinitely.
