You can but an exact time frame on armed robbery or any crime, it depends on the crimminals previous crimes, if one is on parole and even what state is convicting the perp for the crime.

One man got 5 years and 9 month for armed robbery in NYC, then one man who was on parole served 10 years after commiting the crime again. Florida is the most strict on that sought of crime, they give you the big 20 year sentence. Mississippi will put you on lock down for 15 years. The list goes on...!

It also depends on the type of judge you get, There was a judge that wanted to but this tough-guy behind bars so bad. That when the feds finally caught him, he gave him 152 years to life.
