How many write ups are allowed before you get fired?

i just got my second write up the other day, they said a was fired but i thought u were allowed to have 2 write ups and then if u get a 3rd... then your fired. im not sure how many strikes you get before you are let go???

If they have fired you for a second write up, then apparently it's one before you're fired.

This is entirely a company issue, they don't really have to give you any second chances. It also often depends on the severity of the fault. If you were written up for tardiness, that's different than being written up for theft, and still less than if you'd been written up for assaulting an employee.

It's not the same for everyone, ask your employer or one of your co-workers.

Unless you are under contract or in government work for the military they can fire you when ever they want. I would fire someone after one, MAYBE two. They could fire you even without one.
