depends if you are working to guard the inmates, or working to feed your fellow inmates in the mess hall. then age wouldn't matter if you take a look at all the juvie institutions |

i think the age is 21. Now you may have to get fire arms training. I would think twice about working in a jail, that's not a fun job. Only good thing about it is you can retire in 20 years but still its wild in there. |

Well actually i think it depends...but im 18 and i just took my test this morning at 9:00 to work at our prison...it was easy too and i know i passed!!! oh and im in TEXAS!! |
