How should the notarized letter be worded?

My son is 17 and moved to New Jersey to live with his aunt until his 18th birthday. He wants to work but needs a notarized letter.

The notary merely shows that his signature was witnessed by the notary public and it is authentic. It can be worded any way he sees fit.
