I travelled 3000kms to start a new job, i have been there for 5 months.
Whilst eating lunch at work in january i feel off one of their chairs and dislocated my elbow and hurt my neck, im on workers compensations , so everytime i take a day off my boss jeers me and says to stop faking it, im no it truly is a problem and its starting to affect me mentally. i cant move because i signed a 12 month lease with a real estate for my house and my parents are on the other side of the country....i feel terrible hat i cant work to the capacity i used too but this is not my fault.....my boss lie to me when i ask questions about certain things....how can i stop her from bullying me....its getting beyond the joke

First, try having a chat with the boss, perhaps he doesn't really realize how his statements affect you.

Second, go talk to your HR department In the USA this would be very unacceptable behavior, which would potentially expose the company to charges of retaliation for filing a claim, or discrimination based on disability. The idea here is that if the boss makes you feel bad enough it sets an example and other people will be afraid to file legitimate claims, so the department of labor in your state would probably take a very dim view of this activity. The HR people should set him to rights about it.

you have legal rights and can complain about it but its not going to improve your working conditions. the only thing u could try do is laugh it off and go with it and hopefully it will stop.

Contact the department of Labor and ask what you can do if you are being harassed at work.
