Well, on no grounds can a teacher suspend you for laughing at dead people, sense, technically, it is a moral aspect. As for drawing pictures... woopity doo... Tell this teacher that he/she needs to get a grip on reality and focus on giving kids a good education. As for things that you can actually do; Bring it to the principle, legalize it by showing that the teacher in question has no evidence. Good luck! |

What you could do is go to the teacher & say. " I would like to see my guideance councilor and talk about this."
My detention is not appriopriate for my problem.
*not to mention you would not be embarriest infront of your friends (peers)
I always think of different ways of coping with emontional distress. I really rather a see a child talk about what they did wrong then to punish them. |

If ur friend let u take the blame then, she's not a good friend. Try telling ur parents everything above. If they believe then they'll talk to ur teacher and get everything straightened out. |

i would go to the principal if your really that afraid of sitting in a corner (personally i dont see the big deal) But legally, they cant punish you without proof you drew it, so if your friend confeseed to the whole thing and they still punish you, tell them youll take them to court for unlawful punishment(not sure what its called but you know what i mean) and also, you can talk to you guidance counselor, tell him/her how you feel and usually they will tell the pricipal/teacher if you are sincere or not. If they truley feel you didnt do it they will say so and youll probably get out of it, but like i said, if you sue the school for unlawful punishment, or discrimination, then you could get a lot of money and definitly out of you detention |

im guessing that ur in elementary/middle skool...the punishment u described is hardly a suspension, or even a detention. however, i c no fault of urs. i dunno...tell ur parents and get them to deal with ur teacher. laughing at dead ppl is not something to get into trouble for. the picture, maybe...but even thats insignificant...i mean i do retarded stuff all the time and most of my teachers are pretty chill bout it (i even pantsed my physics teacher!) nobody can top that :D...and if they do...my senior prank will still pwn them. |

Your friend needs to take the blame, but furthermore, this friend, to me, doesn't seem to be THAT great of a friend. You might need to leave her.
As for the teacher, I think you oughta talk to her again about this.
I hope your friend does the right thing and doesn't punk out.

u should talk with your friend..... has she or he apoligized to you? Anyway tell your mother and father first off that you did not do it. If htey believe you and they know that you did not do it then that the best thing. Whenever im framed for something and i tell my parents they back me up. Then go to your teacher and tell her you need to seriously talk to her. Insist that you did not do it. Briong your friend with you so she can tell her that she made the drawing. |

Its not a big deal to get suspended Iv been suspended before its not that bad as you think it is. Doesnt show up in your academic record but missing class for days will affect your grade. Just make sure you hang out with good friends. Those people are not your friends. |

Honestly If your friend didn't mean to get you in trouble and you are going to be in the same trouble either way why not let your friend off the hook this time If she is your friend then just let it slide it is not like your getting kicked out of school you just can't talk to your friends for a day or so why should you both get in trouble.. BUT if your friend did it on purpose then getting you in trouble that is then she should tell. |

Wowe, you must not know the difference between suspension and detention. i can proudly say i do, because i've had over 32 detentions in one term. most school's have two different levels of suspension: one where you aren't allowed on school property and one where you can't go to your classes. neither is really that bad. |

if she claims shes gonna tell the teachers she did it then you better go with her. and she aint no friend at all!! then after she is done, stay alone and have a talk with the teacher. tell the teacher/adult that your not disrespectful enough to laugh at dead ppl or draw what your getting in trouble for drawing. hope i helped!! good luck and i hope you get out of it!! |

Tell your friend to get a new friend, and tell your teacher shes a decrypt old fool. Elementary school ends pretty fast, so you'll probably only have to deal with this for 5 more years......
........Seriously though, you should just tell your teacher you wanna talk to her after class/school and explain to her you did not draw this picture thing. Even it sounds like something you'd find off kid shows, it will work, the teacher will appreciate it and actually believe you. |

Being suspended is not being allowed to go to school. Detention is what you would recieve (not that I blame you but, being suspended is completely different). Detention doesn't sound that bad to me (then again, out detention is terrible) but you still shouldn't get in trouble for something you didn't do. That is no friend of yours if they are blaming you. I would tell the teacher..... |
