Since my probation started, I quit smoking pot, but my migraines are starting up again. I play the drums to support myself, and my hands seem to be tense all the time now. Marijuana was also my solution to dealing with seasonal depression, and the accompanying lack of motivation. It was my cure-all wonder drug that I no longer have access to. It also did a nice job with lowering my blood pressure. Here in Michigan, the medical marijuana laws just went into effect on April 4th. Would the medical marijuana program be an option for me with my probation? Or am I just going to have to wait until my probation ends?

Sure the medical marijuana program is an option. If you can get doctors to agree that you deserve and need to be in the program. But let me ask you a different question. Do you really believe that we believe that you needed the weed for migrains and tense hands and seasonal depression and lack of motivation? Save that story for the powers that be. For those who have the power to grant you the medical program. As for me, I don't believe. |
