I have see women choose to use abortion as a form of birth control because we gave them the right to choose.. I have seen 20 year olds on their 7th abortion because she did not want to take the Pill, Patch or IUD.

Sadly, abortion isn't illegal (in most areas.) Abortion is MURDERING a baby that you are shamefully not wanting or can't even take the time to try and handle yourself. I think abortion isn't the answer, nor adoption but i think it is much better then killing an innocent life. |

Well ultimately it comes down to whether or not you consider an aborted fetus something you can kill or not. Is it property or a person? Is it in the category of a tumor to have removed because it affects your life negatively or is it once created a being a living organism that has an inherit life and rights to exist. |

This is not a popular opinion, by any means, but I accept that abortion is murder. I won't try to justify it any other way. I also think it's a violation of human rights to make abortion illegal. Telling anyone how to handle their own biological functions is the most oppressive thing I can imagine. I hope you don't think this means I don't value human life. Making abortions illegal would only create worse horrors. I hope you don't think anyone deserves horrors in their lives. |

many ppl think abortion is something bad but actually its is something beneficial for the kid and the mother.when the parents of the unborn child suffer for the birth of the child and they have it the child will be unwanted and suffer emotional stress later in life when the parents of the child dont have resources to take care of it they rather abort insted of letting the baby suffer from mistreatment.when the baby is autistic the parents might nt want for them to have 2 suffer to watch their child suffer |

abortion is not murder b/c of certain beliefs. some people believe that a fetus is not human until it passes from the birth canal. others believe that a fetus is human while in the womb. it can not be outlawed based on religious beliefs. |

I take it that you have never heard of the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade.
It'd be nice if all laws were perfectly logical and perfectly symmetrical. But laws aren't always as perfect as you think they should be.
If the government had always viewed life as beginning at the moment of conception, then the government would have always been in a real pickle with the situation of putting pregnant women in jail, because the fetuses within could have validly "complained" (via an attorney) that their right to due process was violated given that the fetus did not commit a crime. Think about that. |
