I got into a car accident and i didnt take any information down or make a police report. what do i do now?

like, his name, address, phone number, insurance?!?

Sorry, seems to me you just might be out of luck. How can you ever find this person if you did not take any info down or contact the police? You will either be paying this out of pocket, or if your insurance pays for it, your premium is definitely going up.

Word of advice: next time you get into an accident, major or minor, ALWAYS call the police and get a report. ALWAYS.

people always says things which they dont consider even thinking about it afterwards....
the very first thing you should do after an accident, is call the cops or ask to see his license and other insurance papers, so that you can contact each other IN CASE OF COURT DATES or LAW SUITS...

doesnt matter if THEY ARE THE ONE AT FAULT, they can always use their sweet talk, experience, and MAKE YOU THE ONE AT FAULT...
dont be soft, if they totaled youre car, if theyre being cool or not, you have to report this and make him pay for the damages, otherwise what you failed to do, will eventually come back to you...

Consider this lesson learned, because you have no proof of the incident, no contact information of the person who hit you, and that means it's your word against his.
There's nothing you can do now, you're SOL.

If you know where he lives and you have his number, you can go to the police station and tell them what happened. You should still be able to get the report down if it happed a few days ago.

you can try to make a report..

if you know where he is go get his information..

because no matter the situation..generally if you are hit from behind they usually see it as the other person't fault..

go there if he doesn't give it to you call a cop....

call your insurance company and tell them you were rearended..
