doing doughnuts in a park after hours 2:30a.m. no property damage no people around but i live off of my cdl will i lose my license from this ticket

If you get TWO of serious infractions in a 6 month period, you will lose your CDL. Serious infractions are:
In a commercial motor vehicle:
* Driving without a valid CDL license
* Driving without your CDL license with you
* Obtaining a CDL License without surrendering all previous licenses
In any motor vehicle:
* Speeding in excess of the speed limit by 15 or more miles per hour
* Reckless operation on public or private property
* Violation of a traffic law that involves a fatal accident
* Failing to drive within marked lanes
* Failing to maintain a safe distance behind another vehicle (following too closely)
* Any other violation that the United States Secretary of Transportation designates by rule
So no, you won't lose your CDL. But you will lose your ability to keep and find a job. I doubt anyone will hire you with that on your record. If your current employer doesn't fire you, I'd be awful surprised. The bottom line is you need to get an attorney and fight this, plead it down, or whatever you can do. Your lively-hood is in serious jeopardy if you are found guilty. |

It depends on your record but your employer might not like it. Some places might not keep you on with a ticket like that where safe driving builds a company's reputation. |
