This story takes place 15mins out of Chicago, IL
I'm writing a book so if these charges were on a person what would be their sentence if convicted and fines and bail and stuff. Thanks
Charges:
Kidnapping 17 years old
Rape 18years old
Assault (over a year and a half)
Attempted murder 18 years old
Also if someone gets arrested and the girl doesn't press charges then he would go free right?

Wrong. Crimes are committed against the state and not people. The girl has no say in the matter.
There is no way to estimate sentences without about twenty variables that are present in each case. |

idk. Maybe look at some you tube videos. They have loads of teens going to jail and being sentenced and stuff. This question should be in the section where cops are. They know what goes on in a court room and could tell you. I was working on a book, too & posted my question there and law enforcement hooked "me" up in that section, too. Good luck! |
