My ex-husband says that this means:
Per that sentence it means "service of this report," the judge will issue the order based on this report shortly which may differ somewhat, vary greatly or remain identical to what is in the report and recommendations.
IS THAT CORRECT? HIS HE TRYING TO SET ME UP TO BE IN CONTEMPT OF COURT?

It means that you are considered "served" with the papers on the date that they were mailed. If you have a certain amount of time to respond, the time would be counted from the date they were mailed to you.
Whether this is legal, I don't know, but that's what the words mean. |

Its a scam, trust me, do NOT reply to that paper. If you are unsure bring it to the police and they will help you out. |

That language means that you have been served to appear in court. The service occurred on the date of the mailing, and the court date should appear somewhere in the body of the letter.
I don't think anyone is setting you up, but you have to appear in court.

you really need a lawyer to interrupt that legal mumbo jumbo into lay mans terms for you. that is what I would do to cover my anatomy. A precess server must hand deliver subpoenas ETC in the united stated but i would still have a lawyer look at it. Most first consultations are free. |

I'm not a lawyer but I interpret it to say that whatever the report and recommendations say (they are in the report or some other report?) that they go in effect from the postmarked day on the letter. I don't read in to say ANYTHING will change at all, it won't vary, it has been decided. I hope this helps. |
