Because each state provides it's own definitions and classifications of an offense, and each classification holds it's own minimum and maximum penalty, this question does not provide enough information for an accurate answer. As a matter of opinion, I don't believe any state provides a penalty strong enough, but in order to have an accurate answer to your question, you would need to provide the state in which the crime happened as well as the age of the child (This does make a difference).

By the way, I find it interesting that the majority of those who answered this, assumed that the asker commited such act. Is it not possible that the asker is writing a paper on the legal system? Or any number of other reasons that one could have for wanting to know this? Also, lets not assume that it has to be a man commiting this crime as there are plenty of cases in which a female was found guilty of child rape. Those cases just don't happen to get as much publicity.
