Reading that felt just like someone sticking pins and needles in my eyes. Just about everything it said was wrong! Everything it says just annoys the cr@p out of me, especially the bit that says "This is the Britain we are working hard to build". They don't even know the meaning of hard work. It's just abundant in arrogance.

Are you real. Obviously you do not follow news items or read papers or go out in the community and speak to people. If you consider this party to be representing the majority in this country you are disillusioned.

No Labour hasn't lost it, the last two Labour leaders have just committed treason and given it away, we no longer have a sovereign country we are now all slaves to an unelected group from a different country, yes Labour through their greed and corruption, have totally destroyed our country.

they are only fooling themselves, they have shown themselves to be a party of the past and are completely out of touch with what is happening in britain today. they ignore the people's requests for referendum's on scottish independence and the uk's membership of the eu and have destroyed the workplace for millions by having open borders for all. the tories have a 20+point lead in the polls without even having a solid mandate and will have carte blanche for the next 2 decades to impose any new laws they wish.

When they tell me how they can reduce child poverty i may take notice of them.At the moment there are children with parents in work yet they are still officially in poverty because the minimum wage keeps them there.

What about a bit of balance to this debate? There is lots wrong with new Labour's governance, and I speak as a very disillusioned former Labour voter, but let's examine what you say:

Isn't this what everybody wants? Every party from the most loony lefties to the BNP racists will support this. Nothing contentious here. I don't see them yet claiming they can achieve this.

"With Labour, Britain has got better." - Debatable - but lots of us can remember what 18 years of Tory rule had left. It was unlikely to get worse.

"Crime is down; there are record numbers of people in work" - Both true; crime has been falling steadily since 1991 by every measure, there are record numbers in work, and unemployed - but only because our population is its highest ever.

"NHS waiting lists are at their lowest ever" - well they're lower than in 1997, but lowest ever is streching it.

"school results are better than ever" - of course they are - doesn't follow that school STANDARDS are better.

"Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit has increased" - true, but they always do increase with inflation

"and there are now free prescriptions and free eye test for pensioners." - something the Tories took away and Labour have re-instated.

"And with a new Leader the Labour Party is moving forward to move Britain forward." That's opinion - not many of us share that opinion.

"Our goals are full employment; an end to child poverty; strong public services; and to continue tackling crime and anti-social behaviour" Again, aren't those everyone's goals? But we'd rather vote for someone we thought could achieve it.

Who governs our country through the next few years is an important debate, and fewer and fewer people seem to think Labour under Brown is the answer. But let's keep the debate balanced. Not everything they've done has been wrong, although a lot has. Their policies don't mention the degree of social exclusion in our country, and involvement in a hopeless war has been conveniently forgotten.

But most of what you quoted is the same spin that all parties will come out with at the next election. Let's not jump out of the Labour frying pan, into the Tory fire without careful thought.
