i am Pakistani & i have a visit visa to u.k if my baby boy or girl born in u.k then what is his legal position his nationality is Pakistani or british. i need a leagle openion

To get the birth certificate you would have to qualify as being a resident, so in other words, you have to live there. If you are just visiting and the baby is born it will be considered a birth by foreign parents on vacation, hence, no citizenship. Congratulations for your baby! |

As far as I know, your child would be a British national if he/she would be born in UK, despite the fact that you are a Pakistani national...i am no expert in legalities...hope this question would be answered by someone from UK...
