I moved out of an apartment. Later, a judgement for possession was ordered. How can I get the eviction removed?

This took place in DC.

I had a court date in December. I had a few issues with my apartment and counter-sued. The court date in December was reschedule till February. I was already planning to move in Jan. I turned in my move letter and moved out by the end of Jan.

For the February court date, I had a conference to attend and did not realize that it conflicted with the court date. I assumed the court date was later in the week.

The judge did not grant my wish to reschedule and filed for judgement.

What steps should I take to get the eviction removed off of my account?

In general absent appealing the decision and wining on appeal there is not much of anything you can do, a valid court judgment was issued against you
